Houseplant Feed [+Antioxidant] delivers the perfect blend of nutrients to enhance growth. Infused with seaweed, humic and fulvic acids to help your plants flourish under the day to day stresses of life. Our antioxidant removes potentially harmful chlorine, chloramine and heavy metals from tap water to ensure your plants stay healthy and happy.

How to Use
Shake well before use, add 5 pumps of feed to 1 litre of water. Pour the mix onto the base of the plant, ensuring that there isn't too much excess as this may affect root growth. During warmer months when watering is more frequent, only add Houseplant Feed on alternate waterings.

Whats in the bottle?
Nitrogen (N) Phosphate (P) Potassium (K) & Sulphur (S)
N (x) - P (x) - K (x) - S (x) means the product has a concentration X% of Nitrogen (N), Phosphorous (P), Potassium (K) & Sulphur (S).
Nitrogen is an essential macronutrient for plant function and is a key component of amino acids, which form the building blocks of plant proteins and enzymes. Proteins make up the structural materials of all living matters and enzymes facilitate the vast array of biochemical reactions within a plant.
Phosphorus is vital to plant growth and is found in every living plant cell. It is involved in several key plant functions, including energy transfer, photosynthesis, transformation of sugars and starches, nutrient movement within plants and transfer of genetic characteristics from one generation to the next.
Potassium is associated with the movement of water, nutrients and carbohydrates in plant tissue. It's involved with enzyme activation within the plant, which affects protein, starch and adenosine triphosphate (ATP) production. The production of ATP can regulate the rate of photosynthesis.
Sulphur is essential for many growth functions in plants including nitrogen metabolism, enzyme activity and protein and oil synthesis.
Trace Elements: Mg, Fe, Zn, Mn, Cu, B, Mo.
Within the Prickly & Stem plant fertiliser we have blended a variety of perfectly balanced trace elements which are essential for healthy plant growth.
In our products we utilise combinations of Magnesium (Mg), Iron (Fe), Zinc (Zn), Manganese (Mn), Copper (Cu), Boron (B) and Molybdenum (Mo) to give plants all the required trace elements for growth and flowering.
What do the trace elements do?
Trace elements are needed to support individual plant processes. Without them, plants are unable to grow and respond to their environment.
Magnesium (Mg)
Magnesium is a critical structural component of the chlorophyll molecule and is necessary for functioning of plant enzymes to produce carbohydrates, sugars and fats. It is used for fruit and nut formation and essential for germination of seeds.
Iron (Fe)
Iron is involved in the manufacturing process of chlorophyll, and it is required for certain enzyme functions.
Manganese (Mn)
Manganese is needed by crops throughout the growing seeing for essential functions in the plant like photosynthesis. Manganese acts as an activator for enzymes in growth processes and supports the conversion of nitrate (a form of nitrogen) that can be readily utilised by the crop.
Zinc (Zn)
Zinc produces the plant’s growth hormone and is therefore very important for growth.
Copper (Cu)
Copper is required for many enzymatic activities in plants and for chlorophyll and seed production. It also plays an important role in hormone balance.
Boron (B)
Boron helps with cell wall strength and development, cell division, fruit and seed development, sugar transport and hormone development.
Molybdenum (Mo)
Molybdenum is needed by plants for chemical changes associated with nitrogen nutrition and promotes growth.
Humic & Fulvic Acid
Our Houseplant fertiliser contains 1% W/V of both Fulvic & Humic Acid. These are natures superstar nutrient protectors!
Humic Acids
Humic acids play several important roles such as:
- Increasing soil physical and biochemical activities.
- Make existing nutrients in the soil more available to plants.
- Filtering heavy metals.
- Stimulate plant growth hormones that help with stress and increased photosynthesis.
Fulvic Acids
Fulvic acids are much smaller molecules that help the plant:
- Move nutrients to where they need them inside the plant.
- Filter out toxins and heavy metals, increasing the health of the plant.

Seaweed Based
We based our Houseplant Fertiliser around Seaweed because seaweed is amazing!
Seaweed contains several plant nutrients including nitrogen, potassium, phosphate and magnesium. When extracted, these provide a natural source for our products and your plants.
The natural hormones present in seaweed extract such as auxins, cytokinins and gibberellins help to promote root development. Naturally, leading to healthier plants.
Seaweed extract contains amino acids and vitamins that aid in overall plant growth and vigour. The bioactive compounds in seaweed help plants withstand environmental stresses like heat and drought enhancing plants survival rates.
[+Antioxidant]
Plants are exposed to all kinds of stresses in their environment, whether it's caused by high temperatures, heavy metals or drought from us forgetting to water them. These adverse conditions can negatively affect the growth of our plants and lead to oxidative stresses. Our [+Antioxidant] has been shown to improve photosynthesis and reduce stress. It also helps to purify water, reducing things like chlorine & other heavy metals which may negatively affect your plant and soil health.
