Andrew 

Co-Founder

Andrew is a FACTS Qualified Adviser (FQA) which is part of the BASIS accreditation scheme and allows him to advise farmers on the use of fertiliser in the agricultural industry. “I find plants fascinating, they’re the builders in this world they use the energy of the sun to change water and carbon dioxide into a simple sugar called glucose. They can then use this to produce a whole range of things like fats, proteins and carbohydrates”. Andrew wants to use some of his knowledge and expertise to improve how we look after our house and garden plants. “It’s a frustration of mine that the same amazing technologies that are available to farmers aren’t more available to home users. Especially the ‘greener’ products that will have a positive impact on our planet”.

Ben 

Co-Founder

Ben is a product development and marketing expert with 10 years of experience in global agriculture. “I’ve been lucky enough to travel and meet a lot of very interesting people who are working hard to improve how we utilise fertilisers. I think it’s about time some of this knowledge was shared with non-professional plant growers.” Ben wants to transfer some of his knowledge into developing the next level of house plant and garden fertilisers. “There’s so much opportunity to be doing things a lot better for your plants and for the planet. I also think a products' looks should match its performance. That's why I want to ensure you would be proud to display Prickle & Stem products on your shelves.”
